Damn do these tracks slam! Damn are they sick! Or actually... they szlam! And they are ścieki! Okay sorry, I don't speak the language, it's just that these inspire me to move and dance and to have a good time. This is like Kwasy I Zasady - more electronic and beat focused than jazzy - but polished up, amped up, and basically taken to a whole other level all around. A full album like this would be an absolute beast. I just can't get over that groove in Ścieki. Damn is it filthy! rvss.eel

Bloto is a Jazz band... I love psychedelic music and also KRAUTROCK, and I think there is also a bit of that in Bloto. The title JASMIN is beautiful and hypnotic. gaston_macoute

Ditch the Western cliches of musical sorrow. At no moment in this astonishing "search for Slavic melancholy" do EABS consent to gently weep. Instead, they roar forward, ablaze with unruly life. Most tracks center freewheeling sax over dense ensemble arrangements, intricate & at times challenging, but thrilling throughout. Some may miss the overt club & hip-hop elements of the Komeda tribute, but I think this is their best yet.
Recommended to absolutely everyone. contendo
